Terms and Conditions
Conference Photographer
A conference photographer will be on site during conference and social functions and these photos may be used for future conference collateral and promotion. If you do not want your photograph taken, please ensure you (it is your responsibility) inform the photographer that you do not give permission for your photo to be taken at the time.
Delegate Cancellations and Refund Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing to FTMA Conference Adminitrators (info@ftma.co.nz) and any refund decisions will made in consultation with the organising committee.
If you are unable to attend: You may assign your registration to another person, please contact FTMA Conference Adminitrators (info@ftma.co.nz) if you wish to do this.
Cancellation requests made between 21 April and 1 September 2021 will receive a full refund minus an administration fee of $100. Any cancellations after this date will be at the discretion of the organising committee. Refunds will be made after the conclusion of conference.
Conference Cancellation
Frame and Truss New Zealand and Special Events Aoaraki are regularly monitoring the latest information from the Ministry of Health and World Health Organisation, along with local the Public Health Authorities and we advise attendees to review this information prior to registering for the conference. If we are required to make any changes or cancellations to our conference due to Government restrictions in relation to COVID-19, delegates will be notified by email and will be provided a full refund of their registration fee inus an administration fee of $100. .
Privacy – Marketing
Personal information is collected on behalf of Fram and Truss New Zealand. A delegate list will be produced for the conference including name, organisation, and email address. It will be distributed to conference attendees, conference partners and exhibitors, and provided to Frame and Truss Association of New Zealand and future organisers of FTMA Conferences. This list will not be provided by the 2021 Sharpen Your Vision Organising Committee to any other third party. Should you not wish your details to be included on the list please indicate when asked during the registration process. Attendance information is collected for the purposes of contact tracing and may be disclosed to the Ministry of Health should the need arise.

The European Union's new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect on 25 May 2018. Whilst the 2021 Sharpen Your Vision Conference is based in New Zealand, and we do not always have delegates or speakers attend from the EU, as a responsible Professional Conference Organiser we believe it is important that we follow the GDPR standards to ensure that your personal data privacy is protected. Please note, when you register online you will be asked to give your consent to providing your personal information in order to register for the conference.
